Red Teaming & OPFOR
With a primary goal of portraying comprehensive, capable and realistic hybrid threats, Threat Tec Red Teams and OPFOR provide a realistic challenge for mission rehearsal exercises and pre-deployment training, as well as force development activities that inform future organizational designs and capabilities. Maintaining a thorough understanding of the targets operational environment, they ensure threat actions are delivered to a high degree of fidelity to meet mission training or experiment objectives.
Intelligence Solutions
Threat Tec’s Intelligence Analysts, Researchers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) have decades of military, interagency and academic experience. This expertise enables us to deliver tailored, detailed intelligence products that identify, examine and explain current and emerging military threats in detail. Threat Tec uses its analytical research insights to create comprehensive evaluations, predictive analytics, and reports, such as Country Threat Studies. OE Analysis
Threat Tec provides TRADOC G-27 Operational Environment Training Support Center (OE TSC) with highly skilled Analysts to support the development of OE products. Threat Emulators and Role Players
Threat Tec’s cornerstone capability is regionally-specific threat emulation via high-fidelity roleplayer support to live, virtual and/or constructive training. Our professional and experienced team of senior officers, non-commissioned officers, law-enforcement officers and culture experts serve as the adversary or opposing force during the planning and execution of mission rehearsal exercises, training, table top exercises, wargaming and experiments.
Threat Tec Threat Emulators (TEs) are highly trained and have a full understanding of the Political, Military, Economic, Social, Infrastructure, Information, Physical Environment, and Time (PMESII-PT) of the target Operational Environment (OE) to ensure consistent quality. This enables them to provide a much more realistic portrayal of their characters. Through our efforts to produce a realistic OE, threat emulation is fully compliant with Department of Defense guidelines, ensuring the requirements of the Joint and Army experimentation and training communities are met in accordance with Army regulation 350-2 and Threat Doctrine.
Operational Environment Emulation
Threat Tec’s Operational Environment training solutions’ primary goal is to portray comprehensive, capable, and hybrid threats in realistic environments. Our pool of experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Threat Emulators (TEs), Weapon Specialists and Technical Developers can recreate and model virtually any operational environment and actions during the planning and execution of mission rehearsal exercises, training, table top exercises, wargaming and experiments. Maintaining a thorough understanding of the target operational environment, they ensure relevant blue and OPFOR actions are replicated to a high degree of fidelity to meet mission, training, or experiment objectives.

Threat Tec offers Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and OE Flex® packages to support regional training environments, operational training exercises, and mission rehearsal. Coaching/Advising
Threat Tec’s interdisciplinary team of professionals with senior service college, operations, interagency, and multinational experience provides coaching and advising to unit commanders and staffs during planning, prep and execution of readiness and training exercises. Our extensive experience base includes current tactical and operational doctrine, collective unit training, exercise design and support planning. During execution, our Red Team expertise combined with multi-echelon command experience enables us to provide unique and valuable insights for division brigade and battalion commanders. Synthetic Training Environments
Utilizing the latest approaches in virtual and constructive simulation, Threat Tec software engineers and developers design and implement immersive training solutions. Drawing on our Operational Environment expertise, these simulation-enhanced training solutions produce realistic representations of the mission space. Beyond simulation-enhanced training systems, Threat Tec also works to provide analytical simulation data into the mission command environment.
Using natural language processing to help bridge the gap between simulation and mission command, Threat Tec can provide commanders with simulation supported decision aids that use Course of Action analysis and comparison tools. Threat Tec not only develops training and education tools within DoD simulation programs of record, but our simulation team can also rapidly build tailored simulation solutions to meet emerging needs.
Unmanned Systems
Threat Tec seeks to understand, develop and innovate the capabilities of the Threats to our Nation. Unmanned systems have been deployed since the 1970s and are finding new prominence as technologies improve. Threat Tec studies and prototypes systems for Threat replication. These systems have the potential to challenge the security of critical locations such as government buildings, amusement parks, arenas, weapons facilities and prisons from multiple domains. Unmanned Systems can also be applied to perform high-risk operations to reduce the threat of personnel casualty. Threat Tec maintains an inventory of unmanned systems that are deployable anywhere. Combining our inventory and our expert operators, Threat Tec can offer research, analysis, and training to meet any support solution needs.
Weapons Systems
When creating a combat scenario, one of the primary aspects to consider is the authenticity of the weapons systems used. Systems featured on the field and film must look, feel and perform as if they had been used in actual battle. Our vast inventory of realistic simulated weapons systems equip our customers with the all they need to get their job done. We have several categories of weapons systems. Each one has its own particular use and usage restrictions. Licenced Machine Guen, Static (non-firing), Replica Guns, Blank-Fire Guns, Sim-Fire, Replication (Oxy-Propane), Battlefield Effects, Vehicles.
Multi-Domain Visualization and Simulation
Threat Tec understands the multi-domain battle space. Our expertise spans the Land, Air, Sea, Space, and Cyber domains. With extensive multi-functional leadership experience and first-hand regional knowledge, our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) provide tailored support for live, virtual, and constructive simulation war games, experiments/evaluations, and training.
