Threat Tec enhances its threat emulation capabilities by joining forces with a recognized leader in the design and production of replica and sim-fire machine guns
HAMPTON, VA – January 1, 2018 – Threat Tec, LLC today announced its acquisition of International Replica Arms Company (IRAC), setting the ground for a synergetic partnership that will enhance its ability to provide threat emulation and opposing force (OPFOR) training.
Threat Tec is a leader in providing threat expertise through subject matter experts, war gaming, experimentation, and threat emulation. It has a record of service providing the Joint Community with high-fidelity threat replications in the multi-domain environment (air, sea, land, space, cyber). IRAC specializes in designing and producing replica and simulation-fire machine guns, with clientele ranging from all branches of the military to museums, advertising firms, and film production studios.
IRAC will become a newly branded line within the company called ThreatWerx™. Having ThreatWerx under the Threat Tec umbrella will enable the company to introduce new product lines, consolidate business operations, and have direct access to manufacturing capabilities that can bring realism to the training battlefield.
